for teen mothers TIP transistion to independence process system
The transistion to independence process system model is an intensive therapeutic case management program specifically designed for teen mothers with children. This model will prepare and support young mothers in their movement into adult roles, personal functioning and success, through an individualized, developmentally appropriate process.
The TIP model services girls who are participants at the YWCA West County Family Support Center between the ages of 13 and 18 years old who are pregnant and/or have children between the ages of 0-7 years old.
