A Tribute to Women of Color presents this award to women who have opened doors for others or forged trails for others to follow, and whose contributions and leadership bring about social change and improved quality of life for the community.

good samaritan

A Tribute to Women of Color presents this award to unsung heroines who contribute their services to community activities that enhance the quality of life and community living.

service to youth

A Tribute to Women of Color presents this award to women who have worked directly with young people as volunteers in church, the community and school and have volunteered services to the community at-large.

future leaders

A Tribute to Women of Color presents this award to young women who are graduating seniors enrolled in Anne Arundel County schools, high school graduates, or undergraduates completing their first year of study, and who demonstrate a potential for future leadership. A Future Leader Scholarship may only be received once. With the help of area colleges, universities, businesses, churches, and community leaders, the organization is currently awarding over $300,000.00 in scholarships this year to extremely talented women.
