abuse intervention program

The Abuse Intervention Program (AIP) is designed to teach perpetrators of domestic violence effective tools to live life abuse-free.  The program provides intervention and education services to those who perpetrate domestic violence.  Participants benefit through:

  • Enhanced quality of intimate partner relationships
  • Improved communication with their intimate partner
  • Being a better role model for their children

Participants of the AIP program have had the following comments about their experiences:

"I hated my Dad for what he did to my Mom, then I followed in his footsteps.  I learned how to not be like my Dad."

"I'm a better husband, father, brother and son - a better person all around."

"At first, I resented having to come, but I ended up learning a lot about myself."

"I didn't realize how much I was hurting my kids.  They seem so much happier since things have changed in our home."
